Why it's a CPO

Not every Ford on our lot is a CPO vehicle. The Ford vehicles must meet age and mileage requirements before they can even be considered for the CPO program. In other words, they must first meet our high standards of quality. They must have a clear title. Once they meet these requirements, they must pass a strict inspection based on the certification level. The Ford CPO program is a great way to buy an almost new vehicle for a much lower price.

Levels of Certification

Ford has two levels of certification for its CPO vehicles: Gold and Blue. Ford Blue-certified vehicles cannot be more than ten years old and cannot have more than 120,000 miles. These vehicles must pass a 139-point inspection. The Gold-certified Fords cannot be more than six years old, have more than 80,000 miles, and must pass a 172-point inspection.
